About Us
With the intention to seek more autonomy and control over the school budget and services, Perry Hall Primary School converted to an academy on the 1st of July 2013.
At the same time, Perry Hall was delivering school to school support to Berrybrook Primary following a subsequent request from their local governing body, who later in April 2014 joined the trust, officially making it Perry Multi-Academy Trust (MAT).
We are a growing, primary-only multi-academy trust, currently comprising of eight schools within the areas of Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Worcester and Sandwell.
The management of the MAT is the responsibility of the Trustees who are elected and co-opted under the terms of the Articles of Association.
Detailed objectives and action plans for the forthcoming year are contained within each individual school’s improvement plan and the key priorities have been identified as achievement, leadership and quality of teaching.
The Central Team
The Central Team includes the CEO, a Facilities and Estates Manager, A Head of Finance and Business Administration and the Business Team.
The Business Team is responsible for the preparation of all financial information including annual budgets, monthly management accounts, dealing with HR issues, payroll, data analysis, procurement, weekly bank reconciliations, marketing and communications along with the Trust’s statutory audit.
Promotion of robust financial control and safeguarding of assets are priority objectives for the Business Team.
The Education Team
Our Education Team comprises of National, Senior and Local Leaders in Education, Consultants for Early Years, KS1 and language and literacy, an Assistant Educational Psychologist, Moderators for Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and leader teachers in English, Maths and Science.
