On Thursday 5th of December, Amarjit attended Buckingham Palace to receive her OBE Award for her services to Education.
This was an extremely proud moment for Amarjit who was presented with her award by Prince Charles. Amarjit’s husband and two children joined her at the palace to witness this incredible moment.
On receiving this award, Amarjit said:
“I am incredibly lucky to work in a Trust with a team of like-minded individuals who share the same ethos and core vision – the children always come first and are at the centre of every decision we make.
It is extremely humbling to receive this recognition of the work which I have undertaken in supporting children both within and outside of our Trust. I have always felt so privileged to work with children, to impact their lives and to serve them and the communities that they live in”.
